One reason I hate signing up for any gym is that I don’t show up most of the time. That’s because I get bored so easily, especially if I go alone. I usually listen to my iPod while using the machines, but lately it’s not enough of a distraction. I figured out a way to pass time like crazy. It’s to look up YouTube videos and watch them while using machines that don’t require your hands. I usually do that when I’m on the bike. The other day I watched a few videos and I ended up spending more time and burning more calories. Now, I have more motivation to go, even if it’s from videos on my iphone!

I really never thought of that, maybe i’ll try it next time. However if you really want to pass time, i find motivational lectures really inspiring when doing pushups or sit-ups.
But having someone whose more athletic than you makes you do things you never thought you were capable of. It really pushes you especially if you were competitive.
You should try it! I never knew that working out becomes easier when you distract your brain into thinking of other stuff! Speaking of working out, I really need to start going back to the gym!
