Faye Sultan – Kuwait’s 1st Female Olympic Swimmer

I cannot describe how excited I was when I read the news! Faye Sultan, a Kuwaiti female is going to compete in the London 2012 Olympics. She’s going to be the first Kuwaiti female that competes in swimming. She’s doing the 100m freestyle. The reason for this excitement is that I knew her as a kid. I can still remember her passion for sports. She was always going to practices and doing her best at everything. Now at 17 years old and nearly 6 feet tall, I wish her the best of luck. I’m really proud of her and I will support her all the way.

Short Video About Faye

UPDATE: Fay will be competing on Friday, August 3 at 12:00pm (Kuwait Time)
